Surveillance Security Cameras, CVI, DVR, NVR and IP
Potential break-ins are avoided just by having the visible presents of cameras. Surveillance security cameras can be installed to protect your property. Record any or all activity 24/7 to a DVR / NVR. The system can notify you on your mobile phone even when just motion is detected from any camera. Access your system remotely and view live as well as recorded video on a smartphone or computer with an Internet connection. Sometimes less conspicuous nanny-cams for indoor use is a better choice for comfort levels in the home.
Standard and High Definition HD Cameras - HD CVI and IP
Specify High Definition HD or Standard Definition SD resolution cameras with remote Point, Tilt, Zoom functions (PTZ) , or opt for cameras that see Color during the day and switch to Black and White for infrared see in the dark night viewing. Multi-focal length lens are sometimes required for greater optimization of the view angles. We carry and install a wide range of camera choices to fit your needs. These are professional cameras designed for security. Choose from bullet cameras, dome camera, hidden wall plate or nanny cams.
HD CVI cameras (High Definition Anolog) and IP cameras capture images at high resolution 1080P 1920 X 1080 and 720P 1280 X 720 pixels look significantly more crisp and clear even when digitally zoomed in with greater detail. Standard Definition resolution of 740 X 480 and lower resolution images just have less capability when digitally zoomed.
When a HD 1920 X 1080 is digitally zoomed in at 2X you will see 1/4 of the image at twice the size or a resolution of 960 X 540. The HD zoomed in at 2X is actually a higher image quality than SD is in the normal viewing mode. Budget is the determining factor. SD is the work horse dominating the industry as a cost effective solution. HD CVI can be retrofitted to standard systems that use RG59 coaxial cabling for the cameras. IP cameras are choices that only service the low or high end using Cat5e or Cat6 cable. There really is no middle for IP equipment.
Physical focal lens and digital zoom serve completely different functions. HD captures high resolution images that can be enlarged enabling a single camera to view a wide angle and also capture details at a distance. A lower resolution SD with a more powerful focal lens can capture a distant image however foregoes the wide angle closer images. Wide angle is best for observation purposes and close up is for identification. HD can give you the best of both in well planned situations.

Security DVR in HD and Standard Definition - IP NVR HD
Potential break-ins are avoided just by having the visible presents of cameras. Vandals and pranksters are captured on a security DVR / NVR for law enforcement or to show the next door neighbor their little angle in action. A few cameras around and in the home can give you a better feeling of security that can be viewed remotely using DVR / NVR functions. Combining cameras with full automation significantly increases the integration capabilities of each system alone. These are professional DVR's with a single IP. All the cameras attached to the DVR / NVR can be viewed from Web Browsers or Smart-phones. We match your needs with a wide variety of choices.
HD CVI DVR's are required with HD CVI Cameras. DVR's can look like electronic equipment that fits with any of your AV components or can be installed in panels that conceal their existence. Both can be remotely controlled and viewed in the same manor. The amount of camera determine choosing a DVR with 4,8,16 or more camera inputs. The inputs required frame rates and quality of images captured determines the size of Hard drives. DVR's and NVR's have processors and often determine the maximum Frames Per Second recorded and seen Live.
Images are stored on the DVR's and NVR's in bytes, a HD 1920 X 1080 = 2,073,600 ( 2.1 megapixals) and continuous recording at this rate is 127 Gbytes per camera a day. A standard 740 X 480 = 177,600 pixels, continuous recording would take 13 Gbyte per camera a day. The most efficient recording is based on recording only when motion is detected. A compromise is to record at 15 fps. The above storage calculation was based on full 30 fps.
What are my choices in Cameras DVR's and NVR's?
Understanding camera choices. When you view a camera on a monitor you are seeing the reproduction of an image in lines of resolution , the higher the better. Next will be the lighting level the camera requires, standard lighting, low lux or infrared. Indoor or weatherproof, optics multi-focal length or fixed, vandal resistant, voltage, style dome, bullet or concealed. Standard or High Definition.
Understanding DVR / NVR choices. the first choice is the amount of cameras to be recorded 4, 8,16 or more. What are the features, speed of recording and playback for remote viewing, record on motion, security alarms, DDNS P2P functions for the type of internet in your home, size of hard drive, security stamp for law enforcement, component style or panel hidden. HD or SD.
